Legacy cannabis operator Green Dragon today announced the opening of its first Northern Colorado dispensary in Fort Collins. With this new location Green Dragon now has 16 dispensaries in the state and fulfills the company’s long-standing goal of establishing a presence in Colorado’s fourth most populous city.

Located in the space formerly occupied by Choice Organics in unincorporated Larimer County, the dispensary takes advantage of a lower tax rate for customers in addition to easy access off of Interstate 25. In line with the moratorium on new dispensary licenses in the area, Green Dragon purchased the existing Choice Organics license to expand its retail footprint into Northern Colorado.

Due to its robust presence in the industry, Green Dragon has dropped prices at its new dispensary and is offering an improved product selection, including new brands like Magnus, Fuel, Le Remedie, Tropix and Sugarhigh. The Fort Collins location is unique to the Green Dragon brand because it offers both medical (for 18+) and recreational cannabis products.
