Mr Timber Flooring is now offering its customers three types of Earthwood reclaimed and recycled timber flooring: Gladstone Pipeline Reds, Victorian Origins, and Victorian Origins Legacy Rough Sawn. The floors range in width from 80mm to 200mm.

The Gladstone Pipeline Reds flooring is crafted from sleepers that once supported pipes during the construction of the nearly 500-kilometre namesake pipeline in North Queensland. The timber features a blend of native Australian tree species, including spotted gum, blackbutt, red and grey ironbark, brush box, red gum, rose gum, and messmate.
"Rather than leave this precious resource to be burned or chipped when the pipeline job was complete, Earthwood re-milled it into our Earthwood Gladstone Pipeline Reds flooring," explained a spokesperson for Mr Timber Flooring.
Unlike the Gladstone Pipeline Reds flooring, the Victorian Origins flooring is made from hand-removed timbers salvaged from demolished houses and warehouses across Victoria. Mr Timber Flooring offers six different finishes in the Victorian Origins range, including two book-matched designs available in 160mm and 200mm widths.
As its name implies, the Victorian Origins Legacy Rough Sawn flooring is manufactured using the same source timber as the Victorian Origins flooring, but its finishes are intended to be a little more rustic and old-fashioned. Mr Timber Flooring currently offers three widths for this flooring: 80mm, 100mm, and 170mm.
Recycled timber flooring creates a unique look that adds character to any space, while reducing the demand for new timber and thereby minimizing deforestation, explains Mr Timber Flooring. Plus, using reclaimed timber helps preserve history and reduces waste.
