Philippines Alternative Fundraising & Marketing For Legacy Nonprofits Announced

Dreambucket is introducing an alternative method of funding legacy nonprofit organizations in the Philippines using creative fundraising and marketing campaigns.

On a mission to rekindle the spirit of 'bayanihan' among Filipinos and redefine philanthropy in the country, Dreambucket has introduced its alternative fundraising social enterprise for impactful nonprofits in need of financial support.

Dreambucket is aware that legacy nonprofit organizations in the Philippines continue to struggle because of the lack of resources to sustain their operations. With a focus on non-traditional fundraising tactics and digital marketing strategies, the social enterprise covers many areas that legacy nonprofits grapple with, using its online platform to help them secure the necessary resources for their philanthropic missions.

"Many of these nonprofits have a solid theory of change and a great track record but often lack the resources needed to truly make a lasting and exponential impact. That's where we come in," said Ferina Santos, Dreambucket's Chief Storyteller.

Dreambucket was born out of a small crowdfunded initiative to feed children in underserved communities in Davao City. Through this project, organizer and entrepreneur Kristine Nantes found traditional charitable funding to be outdated, limiting, and unsustainable. In light of this, she founded a social enterprise that gives anybody with internet access an easy way to contribute to nonprofit missions in the Philippines regardless of budget or location.

Dreambucket now supports a variety of legacy nonprofits, such as Sisidlan Institute, Tuburan Institute, Philippine Permaculture Association, Davao Durian Rugby Club, Art Relief Mobile Kitchen, and more, contributing to important causes like education, disaster relief, food sustainability, and sports development.

Every peso donated goes directly to legacy nonprofits promoting social change in every part of the Philippines. Dreambucket says it is on a mission to improve the lives of 19.9 million Filipinos who need help and believes everyone can be part of this.

Dreambucket leverages non-traditional methods like social media challenges to connect with potential donors who might not otherwise come across such campaigns utilizing traditional promotional tactics.

“We’re not just a fundraising company. We’re pioneers. Trailblazers. We’re redefining the way Filipinos think about philanthropy and social impact. Our approach is bold, our vision is ambitious, and our results speak for themselves,” Kristine said.
