Host Committee Formed with South Florida Dignitaries to Welcome the Global Ocean Exchange Event October 24-26, 2021
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Oct. 11, 2021 - PRLog -- Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Ocean Exchange will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, featuring twelve innovative, sustainable worldwide solutions that support healthy oceans, resilient coastal systems, and sustainable ocean transportation and goods movement. Ocean Exchange is partnered with the Marine Research Hub of South Florida (MRH) and is finalizing its plans to receive global attendees and innovators. Local leaders from Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties formed a host committee to welcome the visitors from government, business, NGOs, and academia who will participate in the Ocean Exchange event. Ocean Exchange also recognizes the industry leaders on its Solutions Review Team, the group that picked the Solutions Inspiring Action Winners who will compete for the monetary awards.
The Marine Research Hub, headquartered in South Florida, is a 501.c.3 formed to solidify collaboration among four university oceanographic research centers, three economic development organizations, and the Marine Industries Association of South Florida to establish the region as a global leader in oceanographic research and increase the likelihood of research projects reaching completion in the form of commercialization and technology transfer to benefit the earth and positively impact the human condition.
