TRIPP Brings on Caitlin Krause as Chief Wellness Officer to Lead Next-Gen B2B Focused Programming in the Metaverse

By: WebWire

TRIPP, the leading XR wellness platform, today announced the addition of Chief Wellness Officer Caitlin Krause to the company's leadership team. Krause joins TRIPP as part of her mission to empower meaningful human connection and brings two decades of experience in XR development, digital wellbeing, learning models, and leadership to TRIPP. In her new role, she will design next-gen virtual experiences to foster awe, wonder, presence, and creativity amongst TRIPP users.

“As an experience designer for the metaverse, I guide leaders to leverage virtual reality and immersive storytelling as a tool to form better human-centered relationships, improve well-being, and spark imagination,” remarked Caitlin Krause, Chief Wellness Officer at TRIPP. “Given the synchronicity of my work with TRIPP's mission to deepen connection to self, facilitate mental wellness, and enable personal and collective transformation, I felt driven to join TRIPP's team and reach even more virtual communities through their XR platform.”

Prior to TRIPP, Krause founded the XR studio and consultancy, MindWise, and teaches digital wellbeing and XR at Stanford University. Through these leadership positions, she facilitates metaverse fluency and develops numerous collaborative experiences in social XR that combine meditation, expression, and technology. Krause has also written two books, Mindful by Design (2019) and Designing Wonder: Leading Transformative Experiences in XR (2020), which highlight the importance of fostering meaningful human connection and creative flow through awe and wonder.

“Caitlin has a powerful and unparalleled voice in the XR community, one that we're honored to now have at TRIPP,” said Nanea Reeves, CEO and Co-founder of TRIPP. “With Caitlin's addition, we have a leadership team with a 50/50 gender split for the first time in my entire career working in tech. Having diversity in the key decision framework of our company will ensure that we have a well-balanced offering and make the biggest impact.”

One of the first programs Krause will build out will enhance TRIPP's enterprise focused offering, providing employers with next generation tools for mindful leadership and employees with proven wellness techniques that spark creativity, lower stress and boost connectedness within the context of supporting productivity. Krause's hiring comes on the heels of the company's recently closed $11.2M funding round led by BITKRAFT Ventures, and the acquisition of worldbuilding platform Eden to build safe, community-driven experiences in the mindful metaverse.
