SECTION 7. REGULATION FD.
Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
The United States Department of Transportation issued a final order in its administrative review of the claim by FedEx Corporations wholly owned subsidiary Federal Express Corporation for compensation under the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act. As a result, FedEx will record a charge of $48 million in its second fiscal quarter ending November 30, 2004. A copy of FedExs related press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
