Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 7, 2008, a subsidiary of IDT Corporation (the “Registrant”) completed the acquisition of the Registrant’s headquarters building located at 520 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 (the “Premises”). The Registrant’s subsidiary purchased the Premises from its previous owner, 520 Broad Street Associates, L.L.C., for a total purchase price of $50 million that included $23,148,917.36 in cash and the assumption of the remainder of the existing mortgage on the Premises in the amount of $26,851,082.64.
