Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On July 1, 2008, Manitex International, Inc. (the Company) appointed Bob Litchev Senior Vice President of the Company. As Senior Vice President, Mr. Litchev will be responsible for the Companys international expansion and new product development. Mr. Litchev also assumed the position of President of the material handling segment of the Companys business, which includes the Companys Liftking, Noble and Lowry product lines. Prior to Mr. Litchevs new appointment, he served as President of Manitex, Inc.

Manitex International, Inc. is a leading provider of engineered lifting solutions including boom truck cranes, rough terrain forklifts and special mission oriented vehicles. Our Manitex subsidiary manufactures and markets a comprehensive line of boom trucks and sign cranes. Our boom trucks and crane products are primarily used in industrial projects, energy exploration and infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and commercial construction. The Manitex Liftking subsidiary, which includes the Noble forklift product line, manufactures and sells a complete line of rough terrain forklifts and special mission oriented vehicles, as well as other specialized carriers, heavy material handling transporters and steel mill equipment. Manitex Liftkings rough terrain forklifts are used in both commercial and military applications.
