Item 8.01                      Other Events.

On March 4, 2008, Kaman Corporation issued a press release announcing that it has been notified by the Commonwealth of Australia that it wishes to negotiate mutually agreeable terms for ending the SH-2G (A) Super Seasprite program. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
