Strategic leader brings extensive experience in organizational health and planning to Alliant’s growing team
Tammy McCarty has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Senior Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in the Southwest, McCarty brings more than 25 years of experience in leading HR initiatives and developing people, programs, and processes to support organizational growth and health.
McCarty is widely recognized for her ability to assess organizational needs and craft HR and benefits strategies that align with a company’s culture and business goals. With a background in leveraging business acumen and data analysis to enhance employee engagement, she has built a track record of transforming organizations by implementing strategic HR programs that drive performance.

Throughout her career, McCarty has held high-level HR roles in a variety of industries, where she specialized in PEO extractions, organizational turnarounds, and cultural transformations. She has led HR initiatives that have resulted in substantial cost savings, improved employee engagement, and increased productivity. Most recently, she built and led an HR outsourcing consulting practice, which merged with a large global brokerage, and piloted an expanded practice that led to multiple acquisitions.
McCarty holds a bachelor’s degree in science focusing on communication in human relations from Texas Christian University, where she graduated cum laude.
