The Second Chance Program was made possible by the 2023 Community Support Award from the Second Chance Thrift Store in Summerville, SC. The program addresses immediate and long-term challenges faced by older adults by providing:

- Meals: Expanding DSI’s meal delivery program to address food insecurity through our food pantry and weekend meals.
- Application Assistance: Support with navigating applications for healthcare, benefits, and other essential services.
