The 14-month-old startup bags the “Special Recognition Award”
The 10th edition of the Visual 1st Conference, for the first time in 3 years, brought together Photo & Video businesses at the Golden Gate Club, San Francisco on the 4th & 5th of October 2022. Visual 1st is the premier global conference that promotes innovation and partnerships in the photo and video ecosystem.

Zingcam, a product of Flamingos Technologies Inc, is a 14-month-old startup that won the “Special Recognition” award for their product that enables ‘video prints’. Zingcam’s product offers a natural upgrade for all photo printing companies around the world as they incorporate Photo, Video & AR into physical prints. Their tech allows users to upload a photo and a video, with the option of choosing from a multitude of 3D assets to embellish their video. Once that is done, the user can get the photo printed that, when scanned plays the video in an AR experience where memories last a lifetime.
The evolution of content consumption and how Short Form Video was taking attention away from Photo apps was a hot topic at the 2022 conference. This discussion played to the strengths of Zingcam as their product was the perfect blend between Photo, Video and AR and the growth of the industry is such that with the technology available now, it is as good a time as ever for video customisation on physical printed products.
